A total of 198 employees of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Central Office (MGB) have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on July 21, 2021 through the Quezon City Resbakuna program. The vaccination drive was administered by the staff of Philippine Red Cross.

The MGB Administrative Division coordinated with the Quezon City Government to secure the vaccination schedule for unvaccinated MGB employees, and essential office workers such as the janitorial and security staff.

The vaccination drive was held at the Multipurpose Hall on the third floor of the MGB Multipurpose Building, MGB Compound.

MGB gives its support for the national effort to reach nationwide immunization from the COVID-19 virus by encouraging fellow Filipinos to get vaccinated, most notably frontliners and essential workers.

The second dose vaccination will be conducted on October 13, 2021.
