The Mines and Geosciences Bureau’s (MGB) Administrative Division held their annual New Employees Webinar 2021 via Microsoft Teams last October 4-7, 2021. The four-day virtual orientation was attended by both the contracts of service and newly-appointed permanent personnel, except for the last day—where only the permanent employees are expected to attend.

The attendees are introduced or refreshed on MGB’s core values and policies, as well as a more in-depth discussion on certain topics such as security plans and compensations under the management. Participants were clarified on company rules and certain rights of employees which have to abide by, especially the office guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The participants enjoyed learning during the four-day orientation as online quiz games on the topics discussed were implemented, with the winners getting humble tokens.
