The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through the Strategic Communication and Initiatives Service (SCIS) and DENR Special Events spearheaded the learning lecture-workshop, “Let’s Go Digital: Communicating Environment and Natural Resources Stories” on October 6, 7, 8, and 11, 2021 (second batch).

DENR holds events that will engage its partners and stakeholders that aim to promote sustainable management of the environment and natural resources.

The staff of the Mineral Economics, Information & Publication Division - Mines and Geosciences Bureau Central Office participated in the second batch of attendees along with other employees from the different bureaus and attached agencies.

The webinar had presented the following topics on digital storytelling.

  • premise of digital storytelling
  • a look at image-enable storytelling
  • the rights, duties, and ethics of ENR digital storytellers, and
  • scriptwriting for digital content

It featured prominent speakers who are well-versed in storytelling. A presentation of the learning outputs was also exhibited on the last two days of the webinar.
