Representatives from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Central Office, along with its Regional Offices, participated in the online seminar, workshop, and assessment for the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Hotline 8888 Resolution Rate last October 25-26, 2021 for the Luzon cluster. October 27-28 for the Visayas cluster, and November 3-4 for the Mindanao cluster. All workshops per batch were held via Zoom platform.

On the first day, the welcome remarks was delivered by Mr. Benny D. Antiporda, DENR Undersecretary (USEC) for Solid Waste Management, Local Government Units, Concerns and Supervising USEC for Strategic Communication and Initiatives Service and Task Force Tayo ang Kalikasan. Afterwards, the keynote message was carried through by DENR Secretary Roy A. Cimatu. Updates on the Action Center / Hotline 8888 and Hotline Operation Visit was discussed by Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) Merlinda R. Manila, Head, Action Center / Hotline.

On the second day, a representative from the DENR Knowledge Information System Service went over the DENR Client Satisfaction Survey briefly, which was then followed by a discussion on Hotline 8888 guidelines as PBB 21 (MC 2021-IATF) on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring Information and Reporting Systems by PENRO Manila.

All participants from the three clusters got together once more on November 5, 2021 for the plenary session which showcased presentations per agency and region.
