The Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA) has honored Mines and Geosciences Bureau Lands Geological Survey Division Chief Geologist Liza Socorro J. Manzano during the 10th Distinction and Excellence Award ceremony held on February 24, 2023, at the Bahay ng Alumni, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.

In the category of Government Service, Ms. Manzano was honored for her exceptional contributions and achievements in the field of geology.

All professional associations in the Philippines are managed by the PFPA. Its four primary members are the Council for Built and Natural Environments, the Council for Business and Management Professionals, the Council for Professional Health Associations, and the Philippine Technological Council. Ms. Manzano is a member of the Council for Built and Natural Environments and the Geological Society of the Philippines.
