On April 14, 2023, The Civil Service Commission-National Capital Region (CSC-NCR) conducted the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME- HRM) bronze awards at the NFA Multi-Purpose Hall, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City—where representatives from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Administrative Division (AD) attended.

The PRIME-HRM Bronze award was granted to MGB for fulfilling the Maturity Level 2 Indicators in the four core HRM Systems-- mainly the Recruitment, Selection and Placement, Performance Management, Learning and Development, and Rewards and Recognition. Receiving the award from the AD were Ms. Edna R. Lorilla, Chief; Mr. Joseph P. Rivera, Administrative Officer V; and Ms. Clarice T. Abad, Administrative Officer IV.

The following week on Monday, April 17, 2023, Ms. Lorilla and Mr. Rivera presented the award to Engr. Teodorico A. Sandoval, OIC Assistant Director in concurrent capacity, and all MGB employees present during the morning ceremony.
