The Mines and Geosciences Bureau conducted the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Strategic Planning and Training Workshop last 25-28 July 2023 via hybrid format.

The annual workshop brought together the primary and secondary ICT Focal Persons of the MGB Central Office, and the ICT Focal Person, IT Specialist and System Network Administrator of the MGB Regional Offices.

The objective in the event was to plan and update MGB's ICT priorities while also reviewing the Bureau’s implementation of its ICT projects as stipulated in the MGB Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP).

At the end of the workshop, the following outputs were achieved:

1. FY 2024 ICT Indicative Project Procurement Management Plan;
2. Purchase requests for inclusion in early procurement;
3. ICT Travel and Training Plan; and the
4. FY 2024 IT Work Plan (with targets).
