The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) - Metallurgical Technology Division (MeTD), attended the Chemimmersion 2023 last November 25, 2023 at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

The event, which was organized by UP Association of Chemistry Majors and Enthusiasts (UP ACME), aimed to provide an on-the-job training seminar for chemistry undergraduate students of UP Diliman.

As mentioned during the program, MGB Central Office will open two (2) internship slots for BS Chemistry undergraduates. The interns will be trained and equipped with valuable knowledge and laboratory skills to prepare them for their future careers.

Ms. Estella Clarisse Glifonea, a chemist from MGB CO - MeTD was one of the resource speakers at the event.

Apart from MGB, speakers from Maynilad, Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM), Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), SGS, and Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) also shared their laboratory capabilities, services, and learning opportunities for interested internship applicants.
