The Philippine Mine Safety and Environment Association (PMSEA) successfully launched the first-ever Minero Cup: Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) Tournament, held at Cap John Hay Cultural Trade Center on November 19, 2024.

The event brought together seven (7) teams, each representing Mines and Geosciences Bureau Central Office, MGB Regional Offices, and mining companies, for a day of thrilling matches and camaraderie, in line with the celebration of the 70^th Annual Mine Safety, Environment Conference in Baguio, City.

The following are the participating mining companies during the first-ever Minero Cup: Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) Tournament: (1) Berong Nickel Corporation (Mining Legends), (2) Team ISRI of Itogon-Suyoc Resources Inc., (3) HMC Quantum Blitz of Hinatuan Mining Corporation (HMC), and (4) Amcinero of Apex Mining Co., Inc. On the other hand, the participating teams from MGB include (1) MGB CO Defenders (MGB Central Office), (2) R4 Esports (MGB IV A CALABARZON), and (3) 3STS (MGB RO NO. III).

The tournament served as a testament to PMSEA's commitment to fostering unity and collaboration within the mining industry while embracing engagement on innovative mobile game platforms.

After a series of intense and highly strategic matches, HMC Quantum Blitz of HMC emerged victorious, securing the championship title. While the declared 1^st and 2^nd runners-up were MGB CO Defenders of MGB CO and 3STS of MGB RO No. III, respectively.
