Chemists from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Central Office participated in the 8th National Conference of Chemical Laboratories (NCCL), held on April 3–4, 2025, at the Century Park Hotel in Manila.
With the theme: “Ease of Doing Business with Chemical Regulations,” this year’s conference highlighted the importance of streamlining regulatory processes to support the growth and sustainability of the chemical industry. The event focused on simplifying the acquisition of permits and licenses for chemical laboratory operations in the Philippines while promoting responsible chemical management to mitigate environmental impacts.
Representatives from various regulatory agencies and private sector organizations shared valuable insights on the safe and sustainable use of chemicals. Discussions emphasized the importance of environmental protection and strict compliance with existing laws and regulations.
The NCCL continues to serve as a vital platform for professionals in the chemical industry and government sectors to exchange knowledge, explore new perspectives, and foster collaboration. It contributes significantly to building a more efficient, innovative, and environmentally responsible chemical industry in the country.
