The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) has issued a Memorandum Order (MO) on June 4, 2020 on the supplemental guidelines or protocols for the operation of MGB offices under General Community Quarantine and Modified General Community Quarantine.

The said MO issued is intended for MGB to conform to the Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of Community Quarantine in the Philippines approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force on 15 May and Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 10 s. 2020.

The six-part section guidelines explain the details of the Alternative Work Arrangements (AWA) to be followed by MGB employees. It includes a set of parameters for the implementation of Work-from-Home AWA and Skeletal Workforce AWA, delivery of services, support mechanisms, and other general guidelines.

The following supplemental guidelines shall be implemented across all the offices of MGB. It will also take immediate effect and may be lifted, subject to modification, or superseded by later guidelines.
