Pursuant to the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Special Order No. 2020-086 dated October 9, 2020, Acting Director Wilfredo G. Moncano has appointed Engr. Marcial H. Mateo as the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Mine Safety, Environment and Social Development Division (MSESDD) of the MGB Central Office.

The assignment of Engr. Mateo came after the compulsory retirement of former Chief, Engr. Rodolfo L. Velasco, Jr.

Engr. Mateo formerly held the position of Supervising Science Research Specialist at the Mine Rehabilitation Section of MSESDD.

The order takes effect immediately.
