Metallic mineral production was still lackluster during the first three quarters in 2020 vis-à-vis 2019 year-on-year from PhP99.72 billion to PhP94.99 billion, a shortfall of PhP4.74 
billion or 4.75%. Nickel ore together with the nickel by-products - mixed nickel-cobalt sulfide and scandium continued to have the lion's share with PhP48.22 billion or 50.77%. 
Gold earned the second spot with PhP34.85 billion or 36.69%. Copper, on the other hand, took the third spot accounting for PhP10.95 billion or 11.53%. While the collective value of silver, chromite, and iron amounted to PhP0.97 billion which is about 1.02%.
