The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Minerals Cooperation Action Plan III (AMCAP-III) program held the Online Training Course on Mineral Resources for ASEAN Countries from February 16 - 18, 2021, following the Japan Standard Time, as part of its program to strengthen and further develop the ASEAN minerals industry.

Numerous personnel from the Mines and Geosciences (MGB) participated in the said online training courses as representatives of the Philippine mining industry. It is important for the completion of AMCAP Phase III to conduct a series of workshops and training that engages ASEAN nations to improve their respective mineral industry and gain the knowledge and skills for further the improvement of their respective mineral industries.
