The Philippine Mineral Reporting Code Committee (PMRCC) recently conducted the PMRC 111 webinar entitled, "PMRC for Non-mining professionals". As the title suggests, the webinar aims to present the importance of PMRC to the Philippine minerals industry to audience such as the media, local government units, lawmakers, and other stakeholders. It was held on April 29, 2021 at 9:00am to 12:00nn via the Zoom application.

Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Acting Director Atty. Wilfredo G. Moncano imparted words of gratitude to PMRCC for the continued commitment in their duties and shared his hope for the its future in further adapting to new recording code standards.

The PMRCC was created in 2007 as proposed by numerous mineral industry key players. The committee aims to set out minimum standards for public reporting in the Philippines of exploration results, mineral resources, and ore reserves.
