As an attached agency to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the Mines and Geosciences Bureau took part in DENR's virtual learning event entitled, "DENR Results-based Strategic Communication Plan" last April 6, 8, 13, and 15, 2021, through the use of Zoom application.

The event was headed by DENR's Strategic Communication and Initiative Service (SCIS) in partnership with Human Resource Development Service (HRDS) and MW LEADS Management Consulting.

Information officers, youth desk officers from DENR central and regional offices, bureaus, and attached agencies participated in the four-day learning event.

The objective of the event is to heighten the knowledge and skills of participants to produce comprehensive and effective communication plans, which are deemed useful in their respective fields.
