Geodata Systems Technologies, Inc. (GSTI) has conducted a one-day program for information technology (IT) specialists last April 23, 2021. The training on Creating Surveys using ArcGIS Survey123 Connect was conducted via Zoom and instructed by Ms  Liz Linda Moraleda, Licensed Geodetic Engineer and GIS Training Lead, GSTI.

IT specialists from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau’s Mineral Economics, Information, and Publication Division participated in another chapter of the training program. This course focuses on discovering how to create and publish your own surveys to ArcGIS using Survey123 Connect. In this course, you will learn the basic and advanced configurations to author and deploy surveys to a mobile device. 

 Upon finishing the course, the participants are expected to achieve the following: 1) Create and design forms using the Survey123 Connect.; 2) Collect data using the Survey123 mobile application; and 3) Analyze and display survey results.

Similar to the previous trainings held last April 8, 2021 and April 12-13, 2021, pre-assessment and post-assessment exams were held before and after the training, respectively. The event formally closes after a training evaluation and graduation ceremony, as well.
