The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Employee's Association (MGBEA) conducted a general assembly for employees last May 26, 2021 via Microsoft Teams platform.  The event formally began with the welcoming remarks of MGB Assistant Director (AD) Engr. Roland A. De Jesus, CESO V.  AD De Jesus also delivered the inspirational message on behalf of MGB Director Atty. Wilfredo G. Moncano, stating the Bureau truly did work hard, aligning with this year’s theme of “MGB Rising Above the Challenges of the New Normal,”

Several reports were presented, starting off with the Membership, Labor Education Committee (MLEC) Report, which was discussed by Ms. Gina Flor F. Resubal, MGBEA Secretary and MLEC Chairperson. It was followed by the MGBEA Central Office Accomplishment Report presented by Mr. Danilo M. Octaviano, MGBEA Vice President, while the Financial Status Report was outlined by Mr. Ariel Villanueva, MGBEA  Auditor.

The afternoon session began with a Health Maintenance Organization Orientation by Ms. Edna G. Limbaco, President, First Global Pro-Health Systems, Inc. For the last discussion of the day, the MGBEA National Accomplishment Report, including the National 2022 and Way Forward Targets, was tackled by Dr. Maybellyn Zepeda, MGBEA President.
