The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Central Office honored the retirement of Ms. Elenita Acuna who has finished her 41 years of service with the Bureau during today’s flag ceremony at the MGB office grounds.

Ms. Elenita Acuna started with the MGB at the Mineral Lands and Topographic Survey Division on July 21, 1975. She was later transferred to the Mining Tenements Division in 1985 until 2012, to the Administrative Division for a year, from mid-2012 to 2013 and was reassigned to the Mining Tenements Management Division (MTMD)’s Office of the Chief, from June 2013 to the present.

She expressed her gratitude to God, the MGB and her colleagues who had been there and shared the triumphs, achievements and challenges she overcame.

She was given a plaque and a bouquet of flowers as symbols of the Bureau’s appreciation to her loyalty and dedicated service to the public.
