The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) shows appreciation and recognition to its employees who devote most of their lives to serve the public through the MGB.

Recently, Mr. Enrico “Rico” B. Zuno from the Marine Geological Survey Division (MGSD) of the MGB Central Office (CO) has finished his journey of 43 years with the Bureau.

Rico fondly recalled how, through his work, he was able to travel around the Philippines. It was also during one of his field works that he met his wife. He also had the opportunity to travel to Japan to undergo training. Rico was grateful because he was ableto send his children to school and most of all, he was able to build his own house – all because of his work at the MGB.

Rico served as an Electronic Communications Technician and retired holding the position of Administrative Assistant V. He was given a plaque of appreciaiton in recognition of his dedicated service to the agency.
Thank you, Rico, for your significant contribution and we are glad that you felt valued and happy during your stay with the MGB. May you have a wonderful time enjoying your hard-earned and well-deserved rest!

Meanwhile, the MGB CO warmly welcomed its new employees who took oath on February 13, 2017 during the flag ceremony at the Bureau’s grounds:
