The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) joins in the month-long celebration of Earth Day 2018 this April.

Last April 14, representatives of the MGB Central Office participated in a Mangrove Tree Planting activity in Calatagan, Batangas to help in the “greening” of the area.

The theme for this year’s Earth Day Celebration “Green the Cities, Green the Oceans,” is focused on reducing wastes from single-use plastic to end plastic pollution to the oceans and pushing for better practices on solid waste management.
