The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) continues to promote gender equality and to uphold women’s rights in the workplace.

In this regard, the MGB is set to conduct the Strategic Planning for the 2019 MGB Gender and Development (GAD) Work Plan and Budget and Orientation on the Basic Concepts of Gender and Development.

The seminar aims to educate and refresh the participants’ knowledge on the essential concepts and issues of gender and development. The participants will also work on the 2019 MGB GAD work plan and budget.

It will be attended by the GAD focal persons from the MGB Central and Regional Offices, and will be held in San Mateo, Rizal on December 4 - 8, 2017.
