In support to the celebration of the Philippine Civil Service anniversary, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Central Office participated in a fun run organized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on September 2, 2018 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
Now on its eighth year, the R.A.C.E. to Serve Fun Run has become an annual activity of the CSC to continue to cope with the changing demands of public service, by implementing human resource activities designed to mold servant-heroes and empower agencies.
The theme for this year’s CSC anniversary celebration is Linkod Bayani: Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makabayan. It is “meant to remind us of our important role in exemplifying love of God and country, building a citizen-centric government, and promoting malasakit in public service for our number one client - the Filipino people.”
The race featured three categories: three, five and 10-kilometer run and was open to all Filipino citizens, 18 years old and above.
